Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer with Acquia Cloud expertise to support an existing environment approaching End-of-Life/End-of-Support (EOL/EOS) in December. The contractor will lead required platform upgrades, code modifications, compatibility updates, and testing to ensure a stable and secure environment while the internal team develops the necessary skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade and maintain Drupal applications hosted on Acquia Cloud.
• Perform required code changes, compatibility fixes, and platform updates.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure application stability.
• Troubleshoot issues and support deployment and production maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the internal team and provide knowledge transfer as needed.
• Support off-hours maintenance activities, potentially between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM, as required .

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal development and upgrades.
• Practical experience managing applications on Acquia Cloud.
• Proficiency in PHP, Drupal modules, configuration, and code troubleshooting.
• Experience with application testing, deployments, and production support.
• Ability to work independently and support scheduled maintenance windows.
