Drupal Developer (Headless)

In this position, you will lead the design and implementation of decoupled content management architectures, serving as a key player in building robust APIs for omnichannel content delivery.

Education

• University or Technical degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of proven experience in backend development using Drupal, with a strict and demonstrable focus on headless/decoupled architectures.
• Advanced proficiency with recent versions of Drupal, PHP 8.x, Symfony components, Composer, and Drush.
• Deep technical expertise in implementing and optimizing content delivery via JSON:API (including sparse fieldsets, filters, paging, and JSON:API Extras) and custom REST endpoints (resource plugins, normalizers, versioned OpenAPI contracts, RFC 9457 errors, and CORS).
• Comprehensive knowledge of content modeling for reuse, utilizing Entity & Field API, Configuration Management, and the plugin system (Dependency Injection, events).
• Strong capability to integrate and manage robust security systems, including OAuth 2.0 (Simple OAuth), OIDC with Keycloak, strict entity/field-level access control, and OWASP best practices.
• Solid background in performance optimization through caching strategies (cache tags/contexts, CDN/Varnish purge by tag, API response optimization) and media delivery via API.
• Experience handling multilingual content through APIs and enabling decoupled previews (drafts and revisions).
• Dedication to software quality assurance utilizing testing frameworks and tools such as PHPUnit (Unit/Kernel/Functional), PHPCS/PHPStan, Git, and local environments like DDEV, Lando, or Docker Compose.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in technical English (both written and spoken).
• Speaking and Writing in English: BETWEEN B2 - C2 level IS A MUST
