Responsibilities

• Operate pressing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to press garments, linens, and delicate fabrics.
• Inspect items for stains, damages, or irregularities before pressing to ensure quality control.
• Follow specific garment care instructions and customer requests to achieve optimal results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Skills

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment care, fabric types, and pressing techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to operate pressing machines safely and efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions or balancing registers when necessary.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols in a hospitality or hotel environment is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
