Drywall Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to construction plans and schematics
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise placement of drywall and related materials
• Apply drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing techniques to achieve seamless surfaces
• Repair damaged drywall or perform restoration work including water damage remediation and mold remediation
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for drywall installation, sanding, caulking, and trimming
• Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, masons, and other trades to coordinate project tasks
• Follow construction safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure work environment on-site

Skills

• Proficiency in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
• Experience with metal stud framing, plastering, flooring installation, tile laying, and stucco application is a plus
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to operate hand tools such as saws, drills, trowels; power tools including airless paint sprayers; and specialized equipment for drywall work
• Knowledge of schematics for fixture installation or remodeling projects enhances versatility
• Construction site experience with an understanding of plumbing, framing, masonry, drywall texturing or painting is highly valued
