Drywall Installer/Finisher

About the Position

Agrestic Services LLC is seeking a dependable, experienced Drywall Installer and Finisher for residential renovation and property restoration projects. The ideal candidate can install drywall and complete finishing work to a smooth, paint-ready condition with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall on walls and ceilings.
• Tape joints, apply joint compound, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Repair damaged drywall and match existing textures as needed.
• Follow project instructions, measurements, and schedules.
• Protect floors, furnishings, and surrounding work areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Use tools and equipment safely.
• Coordinate with the project manager and other trades.
• Assist with painting, trim installation, and flooring when qualified.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in drywall installation and finishing.
• Ability to produce consistent, professional-quality work.
• Reliable transportation to assigned job sites.
• Dependable attendance and good communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting drywall and working from ladders, with reasonable accommodation.
• Painting, trim carpentry, flooring, or property restoration experience is a plus.

Schedule

Approximately 20-40 hours per week, with scheduling based on active projects and your skillset. Please indicate your weekday and weekend availability when applying. Additional hours may become available.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels according to construction plans and schematics
• Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a seamless appearance
• Repair damaged drywall or existing surfaces with precision and attention to detail
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for all drywall-related tasks
• Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris in accordance with safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, repair, or related construction work
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, schematics, and blueprint reading
• Familiarity with construction estimating and project timelines
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools such as knives, trowels, sanders, and caulking guns as well as power tools like drills and saws
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards
• Experience with drywall mudding, taping, texturing, plastering, and metal stud framing
• Additional skills in related areas such as flooring installation, tile laying, trim carpentry, or restoration industry experience are a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
