Drywaller/Carpenter/Framer

Team FSI is looking for an experienced Drywaller / Carpenter/Framer to join our growing team! We’re seeking a dependable, skilled individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and can handle a variety of commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform wood and metal stud framing for commercial construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and building layouts.
• Hang, tape, finish, and repair drywall.
• Install drop ceilings and acoustical ceiling systems.
• Install hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.
• Perform exterior framing and siding installation.
• Complete finish carpentry, including wood trim, cabinets, and millwork.
• Perform demolition and selective demolition as needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and job-site procedures.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of carpentry, framing, or drywall experience preferred.
• Commercial construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safe work practices.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel between job sites as project schedules require.
• Must have basic hand tools and be comfortable using standard power tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred; training may be provided for qualified employees.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on construction position requiring the ability to:

• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work from ladders or lifts.
• Stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Perform physically demanding tasks safely throughout the workday.
