DSA & Competitive Programming Trainer / Faculty

Job Summary

KL Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, is looking for technically strong and passionate DSA & Competitive Programming Trainers/Faculty to train B.Tech students in Data Structures & Algorithms, Advanced DSA, Competitive Programming, Dynamic Coding, and placement-oriented problem solving.

Role & Responsibilities

• Train B.Tech students in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Advanced DSA, Competitive Programming, Dynamic Coding, and Placement-Oriented Problem Solving.
• Conduct engaging classroom and lab sessions with strong emphasis on live/dynamic coding.
• Solve unseen coding problems during sessions and demonstrate Brute Force Optimized Approach.
• Teach problem-solving techniques, algorithm design, debugging, code optimization, and Time & Space Complexity.
• Cover Arrays, Strings, Recursion, Backtracking, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, BST, Heaps, Hashing, Graphs, Greedy Algorithms, Dynamic Programming, Tries, Bit Manipulation, Sliding Window, Two Pointers, DSU, and Advanced Graph Algorithms.
• Prepare students for competitive programming contests, coding assessments, product-based company hiring tests, and technical interviews.
• Conduct coding contests, mock coding interviews, coding assessments, and company-specific coding preparation sessions.
• Monitor student performance and provide mentoring and individual guidance.
• Develop coding problems, assignments, practice sets, and assessments.
• Stay updated with competitive programming trends, coding platforms, and industry-relevant problem-solving techniques.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on programming skills in C++ / Java / Python.
• Excellent knowledge of DSA, Advanced DSA, Competitive Programming, and Problem Solving.
• Strong live-coding ability with the capability to solve unseen coding problems.
• CodeChef 3+ preferred; candidates with strong CodeChef, Codeforces, or LeetCode profiles will be considered.
• Strong LeetCode profile with experience solving Medium/Hard problems is an advantage.
• Strong Codeforces/competitive-programming profile will be an added advantage.
• 16 years of relevant experience in Coding, DSA Training, Competitive Programming, Software Development, or Technical Training preferred.
• Prior experience training B.Tech/Engineering students is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, classroom delivery, mentoring, and student-engagement skills.
• Candidates should provide their CodeChef, LeetCode, and/or Codeforces profile links for technical verification.

Preferred Profile: Strong DSA + Competitive Programming + Live Coding + Teaching/Mentoring Skills.
