DSP (Direct Support Professional)

We have two part time positions available in the Isanti County area.

The primary focus of this position is to work directly with people who receive supportive services in their own homes, this is not a group home or foster care position. The direct care staff will act in the best interest of the person they serve by implementing personalized goals/outcomes and documenting process. The direct care staff will need to be comfortable working independently in clienst home with a strong ability to comply with policies and procedures.

Direct care staff will be working closely with individual doing a variety of daily tasks like; recreational activities in the community and at home; assisting and training clients to increase skills and independence in daily living activities that may include; assistance with dressing, bathing, budgeting, homemaking, grocery shopping and other duties as assigned.

The current need is for people served in the Isanti County area, specifically in the city of Cambridge, City of Isanti and Braham.

Experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual(s). All training is paid by the employer, much of the training is done online.

PERSON HIRED CAN WORK WITH MULTIPLE CLIENT LOCATIONS IF THEY CHOOSE.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct support roles and working in private homes with individuals with or without family members present.
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions in accordance with the clients support plan.
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid insurance and drivers license
• Background in social services work or related fields is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
