DSP Dispatcher

Job Summary

We are seeking two experienced tech-savvy and highly organized DSP Dispatchers to join our transportation operations team. A generous sign-on bonus of $250.00 paid over 5 weeks is included if hired. In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage the smooth rollout of our delivery fleet, tracking on-road progress in real time, and supporting our driving team to ensure every package is delivered safely and on schedule. Your communication skills and attention to detail will help optimize fleet utilization, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain seamless logistics workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced supply chain environment while utilizing advanced transportation management systems and technology tools.

Duties

• Coordinate daily dispatching activities for DSPs using Cortex software and other Fleet Management platforms.
• Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure adherence to safety standards and on-time deliveries.
• Communicate as the primary, calm point of contact for 40+ on-road delivery drivers guiding them through delivery app error, customer access issues and mechanical concerns.
• Proactively dispatch "rescue drivers" to assist team members experiencing high volume or heavy delays to ensure the whole team finishes successfully.
• Monitor safety behaviors, compliance checklists and end-of-day dispatch paperwork.
• Proven dispatch experience with Amazon DSP safety requirements, expectations and software and or proven experience with similar dispatch operations or logistics.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GPS data, GIS mapping tools, and transportation management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills for phone call management, internal coordination, and customer service interactions.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
