DSP/CNA/HHA/PCA

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, to promote dignity and comfort
• Following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain safety and confidentiality
• Assist with mobility and transfers according to the client's care plan and your training
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when authorized
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan and agency policy
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow the client's Service Plan and agency instructions
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with EVV requirements
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Provide care with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect

Experience

• HHA certification or required caregiver credentials
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred
• Reliable and dependable
• Compassionate and patient
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow a Service Plan and agency policies
• Ability to work independently in a client's home
• Must pass required background checks and meet applicable employment requirements
• Reliable transportation is preferred/required when applicable to the assignment

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
