Ductwork Trainer / Duct Installation Instructor

About the role

ATLANTA is seeking an experienced ductwork professional to develop and deliver practical ductman training for individual learners and corporate teams.

Training may take place at our Dubai training center or at client premises. We are looking for someone interested in an ongoing collaboration, helping us build programmes that prepare learners for practical ductwork tasks.

Experienced ductwork foremen, supervisors and senior duct installers with the ability to teach are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical ductwork training content for beginners, helpers and working technicians.
• Review client requirements and recommend suitable training scope and duration.
• Identify the tools, equipment and materials required for hands-on sessions.
• Demonstrate duct installation techniques and supervise learner practice.
• Teach relevant drawing interpretation, measurement, assembly, jointing, supports, alignment and sealing.
• Deliver fabrication and insulation training where supported by your experience and the agreed course scope.
• Assess each learner’s practical skills and provide clear feedback.
• Promote safe working practices throughout training.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in ductwork installation.
• Ability to read and explain ductwork drawings and installation details.
• Experience supervising, coaching or training ductmen, installers or helpers.
• Ability to explain practical tasks clearly and patiently.
• Availability to deliver training at our center and client sites in Dubai.

Please specify your experience with:

• Galvanised sheet-metal ductwork.
• Pre-insulated duct systems.
• Duct fabrication and fittings.
• Duct insulation and cladding.
• Flexible ducts and related connections.

You do not need to specialise in every system listed, but should clearly identify what you can confidently teach.

Preferred

• UAE construction-site experience.
• Experience as a ductwork foreman, supervisor or senior ductman.
• Relevant trade qualifications.
• Ability to teach in multiple languages.

Previous employment under the title “Trainer” is not essential if you have strong practical experience and can demonstrate effective teaching skills.

Schedule and compensation

Schedules and compensation will be agreed based on programme requirements, experience and availability. Sessions may be held during the day, evenings or weekends.

There is potential for regular assignments and a longer-term role as our ductwork training programmes develop.
