Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty freight vehicles across designated routes.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details in compliance with transportation regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all safety standards.
• Follow established routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or vehicle issues.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles; delivery driver experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in manual transmission driving; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks is advantageous.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual techniques.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and traffic regulations across different regions.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and vehicle maintenance routines.
• Physical ability to perform routine inspections and handle cargo loads as required.
