Dump Truck Driver

Legacy Hauling, LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to join our family-owned company. This position supports local hauling operations throughout Middle Tennessee, transporting construction materials safely and efficiently to and from job sites.

Applicants must be able to operate both a 10-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck while following traffic laws, applicable DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure materials are safely loaded, secured, tarped, and unloaded.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate professionally with customers and job-site personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily haul tickets and required logs.
• Report maintenance needs, equipment defects, and safety concerns promptly.
• Keep the truck clean and properly care for company equipment.
• Follow job-site safety procedures and remain aware of workers, equipment, and surrounding conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL appropriate for the assigned truck.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both a 10-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission. *REQUIRED*
• Dump truck or construction hauling experience preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and sound judgment on active job sites.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and clear communication.
• Availability for early morning starts and occasional Saturday work.

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
