Dump Truck Driver

Industrial Dumpster Service (IDS) is looking for a dependable, safety-focused CDL Class B Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating a Roll off Garbage Truck while safely servicing commercial customers throughout the Montgomery area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class B Roll Off garbage truck
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow assigned routes and provide timely waste collection services
• Operate truck controls and compactor safely and efficiently
• Transport collected materials to designated disposal facilities
• Maintain accurate vehicle inspection reports and route documentation
• Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Keep the truck clean and in safe operating condition
• Clean up accidental spills when necessary
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B License (or higher)
• Air Brake Endorsement required
• Clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Previous waste collection or commercial driving experience is a plus, but not required
