Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary

The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport and deliver construction materials such as soil, gravel, sand, aggregates, and excavated materials to designated areas of the highway construction project. The role ensures timely delivery, proper unloading, and compliance with traffic regulations, project safety procedures, and equipment operating requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a dump truck to transport construction materials to and from designated project locations.
• Deliver soil, gravel, sand, aggregates, and other materials according to project requirements.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials at designated areas under the direction of the site supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking the engine, brakes, tires, lights, hydraulic lifting system, and other essential components.
• Ensure that loads are properly secured and within the truck's allowable load capacity.
• Follow designated routes, speed limits, traffic rules, and site traffic management procedures.
• Observe safety precautions when reversing, maneuvering, and dumping materials near workers, equipment, and roadways.
• Ensure the truck is positioned on suitable, stable ground before raising the dump body.
• Report mechanical problems, vehicle defects, accidents, and other safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery receipts, and other required vehicle documentation.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php27,000.00 per month
