Duties

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy construction machinery following all safety regulations and operational procedures
• Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris to and from construction sites with precision and care
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Assist with construction utility work, including utility locating and site grading tasks when needed
• Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery schedules efficiently
• Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment
• Support excavation activities by operating loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery as required

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving within construction or similar environments
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining heavy equipment such as Caterpillar loaders or excavators
• Skilled in construction utility work including utility locating and site grading techniques
• Strong understanding of federal safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
• Ability to operate loaders, excavators, backhoes, and other construction machinery confidently
• Knowledge of excavation processes, construction site safety protocols, and equipment maintenance practices
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance at all times
