What they need
- Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with the appropriate restriction code/category for operating a dump truck.
- Preferably a TESDA National Certificate (NC II) relevant to Heavy Equipment Operation, particularly Dump Truck/Hauling Equipment, or equivalent recognized training.
- At least 2 years of actual experience in operating a dump truck or similar heavy vehicles.
- Preferably with experience in construction, mining, quarry, roadworks, or hauling operations.
- Must have knowledge and skills in safe operation of dump trucks, including loading, hauling, reversing, and unloading.
- Must be knowledgeable in conducting pre-operation and post-operation inspections.
- Must understand basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of dump trucks.
- Must be knowledgeable in defensive driving, traffic rules, and workplace safety procedures.
- Must be capable of operating the vehicle on rough, steep, muddy, rocky, and uneven terrain.
- Must understand blind spots, safe reversing procedures, and proper use of a spotter/banksman.
- Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of a dump truck driver.
- Must have a good driving record and no serious history of reckless driving or safety violations.
- Must be willing to comply with company safety policies, PPE requirements, site rules, and operating procedures.
- Willing to work shifting schedules, overtime, and remote/job-site assignments, when required.
