Position Overview

• Job Title: Fast Food Opening Crew Member / AM Team Member
• Reports To: Shift Manager / General Manager
• Shift Hours: Typically early morning (e.g., 4:00 AM – 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM)
• Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Store & Facility Setup:
• Arrive on time for early morning shifts to unlock and secure the building.
• Turn on kitchen equipment, grills, fryers, coffee makers, and point-of-sale (POS) registers.
• Ensure dining room, order counters, restrooms, and exterior grounds are clean and presentable.
• Food Preparation & Stocking:
• Receive, unload, and check-in early morning inventory or food deliveries.
• Prep breakfast or lunch ingredients, slice produce, make sauces, and brew fresh coffee/tea.
• Restock all front-of-house and back-of-house stations (cups, napkins, condiments, packaging, and food bins) to par levels.
• Customer Service & Operations:
• Greet early-riser and breakfast customers with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Take accurate orders at the counter or drive-thru using the POS system.
• Prepare and package food items quickly and safely according to brand recipes and portion controls.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Log opening temperatures for freezers, coolers, and holding cabinets.
• Follow strict local health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines at all times.
• Wear proper uniform, hair restraints, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous fast-food, kitchen, or customer service experience is preferred, though entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are often trained on-site.
• Availability: Must be consistently available for early morning opening shifts (often starting between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM), including weekends as needed.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/carry up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Skills & Traits:
• Strong time-management and punctuality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
