Responsibilities

• Open the store each morning, ensuring all equipment is operational and the environment is clean and welcoming
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Process retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including food handling areas, beverage stations, and customer seating areas
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and serving drinks promptly
• Follow food safety standards during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and compliance
• Restock supplies as needed to keep the store fully equipped for daily operations
• Assist in training new team members on POS systems, food handling procedures, and customer service expectations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Strong skills in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good time management skills to ensure timely opening procedures and smooth daily operations
• Basic understanding of beverage preparation, drink service, and food presentation techniques

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
