🔍 Overview Were looking for an experienced ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Internal Auditor to support a Belgian client in reviewing and validating their Information Security Management System (ISMS).

This short-term assignment will focus on assessing the current ISO 27001:2022 implementation, identifying any gaps or non-conformities, and providing recommendations ahead of the final review and approval by the CTO.

✅ Key Responsibilities

🔎 Conduct an internal audit against the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard
📄 Review existing policies, procedures, controls, and documentation
🛡️ Assess the effectiveness and compliance of the current ISMS
⚠️ Identify risks, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities
📝 Deliver a clear audit report with recommendations and corrective actions
🤝 Collaborate with stakeholders and present findings to the CTO for approval

🎯 Required Experience
✔️ Proven experience conducting ISO/IEC 27001:2022 internal audits
✔️ Strong understanding of information security, governance, risk, and compliance
✔️ Ability to independently assess and challenge existing implementations
✔️ Experience working within software development environments
☁️ Knowledge of cloud environments is appreciated (Azure is a plus, not mandatory)
📊 Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
