Duty Aid -2 hours per day

General Responsibilities The Duty aid will help will help supervise students in the cafeteria and playground during the lunch/recess periods. The main duties will include ensuring student safety, promoting positive behavior, and assisting with minor conflicts or issues that arise.

Pay Range: $18.88 to $27.96 per hour Qualifications Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required

Experience: Previous experience working with children is preferred.

Examples Of Duties

• Guiding groups of students to/from cafeteria and/or playground.
• Assisting younger children in getting lunch trays, milk and condiments.
• Helping children in opening lunch items.
• Monitoring student behavior and providing appropriate discipline as necessary within guidelines of school rules.
• Assisting student in cleaning up after themselves.
• Monitoring students for safety and appropriate behavior on the playground.
• Other duties as assigned to assist the staff of the school in getting adequate lunch breaks
