Our client "The Hong Kong Jockey Club" is seeking a Duty Engineer (1 year contract) to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Facility Inspection: Conduct regular inspections throughout the Clubhouse to identify and address potential issues promptly.
• Team Leadership: Guide and supervise a team of Technicians, ensuring high-quality maintenance and repair work across various systems and facilities.
• Hands-on Maintenance: Utilize your expertise to perform skilled maintenance work, diagnose faults, and provide cost estimates for repairs or replacements.
• Cost Management: Keep accurate records of time and materials for each job, providing periodic status and analytical reports to management.
• Inventory Control: Maintain adequate stock of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring your team has everything they need to perform their duties efficiently.
• Preventive Maintenance: Implement proactive measures to minimize disruptions to critical mechanical services.
• Contractor Oversight: Monitor and guide contractors to ensure their services meet specified standards and protect the Clubhouse's interests.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: Higher Diploma / Diploma in Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in facility management within the hospitality industry.
• Professional Certification: Hold a Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to maintain high satisfaction levels among Members and guests.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Tech-Savvy: Hands-on experience with MS Office and other relevant applications to streamline operations and reporting.
