Duty Manager

About the role

This position includes a mix of evening shifts through to store close and weekend work. As Duty Manager, you will help lead the store team, ensure compliance with liquor licensing requirements, and provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising daily store operations
• Delivering outstanding customer service
• Ensuring compliance with Sale and Supply of Alcohol regulations
• Responsible alcohol sales and age verification
• Stock handling and merchandising
• Repetitive heavy lifting of stock and deliveries
• Cleaning and maintaining a tidy, well-presented store
• Assisting with staff support and store security procedures
• Opening and closing duties as required

About you

• Must be 20 years of age or older
• Hold a current LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification)
• Hold a current Duty Manager's Certificate or be willing and able to obtain one
• Previous retail experience, preferably in alcohol sales
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, honest, and able to work independently
• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting
• Available to work evenings and weekends
