Duty Manager

About the role

Here at Cassels we are looking for an experienced and reliable Duty Manager to join our team. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for customer service, and experience in a busy restaurant. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, a current Duty Manager license, a strong work ethic and the ability to manage restaurant service efficiently. A key part of the role is leading a team, ensuring high standards, and working under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Lead and manage the team effectively.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer needs, including intoxication situations.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage service.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Current Duty Manager license.
• Strong understanding of restaurant service.
• Experience leading a team and working under pressure.
• Coffee-making skills (not essential)
• Excellent customer service skills, honesty, reliability, flexibility and attention to detail.
