Duty Manager

Killaloe Hotel in Clare have a fantastic New Vacancy for a Duty Manager with specific responsibility for overseeing key functions in the hotel.

This may suit a candidate that has been a F&B supervisor for several years and is looking to progress to the next step of their career.

Objective of the Role: Reporting to the General Manager, the Duty Manager will oversee the running of key functions in the hotel, as well as supporting the Head's of Department in their roles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Hotel on a day to day basis with specific responsibility for the F&B outlets.
• Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
• Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
• Assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments.

Requirements:

• Extensive F&B knowledge
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of cash management and accounting procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Hands on approach, with can do attitude
• Availability to work in shifts including weekends and late evenings
• Can lead and motivate a team to get the best for all
• Highly motivated and have great management & communication skills
• Have a passion for their role within the Hotel
• Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike
• Be capable of excellent upselling in all areas of the Hotel

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
