Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week. Rostered shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

About the Role

Joe’s Garage Five Mile is part of a well-known nationwide hospitality brand offering simple, fast, and reliable food and beverage service. We are currently seeking a full-time Duty Manager to join our energetic team. This is a key customer-facing role with operational responsibilities across front-of-house service, customer experience, and staff coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day floor operations during rostered shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns.
• Supervise and support front-of-house team members.
• Handle cash and reconcile tills.
• Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
• Open and close the premises in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience or a relevant qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
