DUTY MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join the management team at GPnC Manpower Services. This is a full-time position based in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal to the success of our operations, requiring strong leadership and operational expertise to manage staff, resources, and guest experiences effectively.

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee daily operations and ensure all departments function smoothly and efficiently
2. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain service excellence
3. Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
4. Handle guest relations and resolve complaints or issues professionally and promptly
5. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
6. Manage inventory, stock levels, and procurement of supplies as required
7. Prepare reports on daily operations, incidents, and performance metrics
8. Supervise cash handling, billing, and financial transactions
9. Coordinate with management to implement operational improvements and strategic initiatives
10. Ensure security and safety protocols are maintained throughout the premises

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in hospitality management or a similar supervisory role
2. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
4. Proven problem-solving capabilities and sound decision-making skills
5. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, health and safety regulations, and best practices
6. Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
7. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
9. High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer service excellence
10. Certification in hospitality management or related field is preferred
