Pull up a stool, we need a Duty Manager 🍺

Landers Pocket is Brisbane's newest golf, food and entertainment playground. We've got an on-site 4 Pines brewery (Voted QLD's Best Pub 2026, no big deal), a Never Never Distilling Co. distillery, bars and dining spaces, and Golf Central, QLD's biggest driving range. And we're only on our first pint. A garden bar is on the way, four padel courts are going in, and an amphitheatre is in the pipeline.

We're after a Duty Manager to run the show at 4 Pines. You'll be the captain of the taproom: calm when it's pumping, quick on your feet, and the reason guests stay for "just one more."

What you'll be pouring your energy into

• Running the taproom, bar and dining floor on shift, keeping everything flowing like a freshly tapped keg
• Being the go-to person when things get busy, sorting issues fast so service never misses a beat
• Keeping service standards sharp, from sections and sequence of service to a tight line between the floor and the kitchen
• Coaching and backing your crew so every shift feels like a good one, for them and for our guests
• Handling cash, POS, shift reports and labour without breaking a sweat (or at least without showing it)
• Owning the floor through big weekends, events, functions and the odd wild Friday
• Keeping us on the right side of food safety, RSA, licensing and WHS

What you'll bring to the bar

• Experience as a duty manager, supervisor or senior floor lead in a busy venue. Restaurant or high-volume pub experience is a big tick.
• A good feel for service and how the floor and kitchen work together
• A cool head when the room's full and the tickets are stacking up
• The kind of hospitality instincts that make guests feel like regulars on their first visit
• Comfort with the on-shift numbers: labour, sales and reporting
• A current RSA (RMLV is a bonus)
• A love of good beer. You'll be working metres from where ours is brewed, so curiosity is encouraged (after knock-off, obviously).
