Duty Manager

The style of food is high end casual, with a menu that features sections dedicated to burgers, tacos, and sharing plates. The style of cuisine is Californian/Asian Fusion, you can visit our Facebook page to see the menu and some imagery.

Our drinks menu is extensive and we endeavour to have one of the most progressive cocktail programs in the country.

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our team:

PAY RATE

• $27-$30 per hour

MINIMUM HOURS OF WORK

• 30 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complying with The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, all amendments, any local alcohol policies.
• Making The Parasol and Swing Company beverage offerings with speed to The Parasol and Swing Company standards as mandated by the Venue Manager.
• Maintaining a clean work environment, including following the cleaning schedules.
• Ensuring opening and closing procedures are adhered to.
• Assist the Venue Manager to ensure that staff costs of the venue are consistently hitting targets.
• Ensure systems established by the Venue Manager are followed by the staff.
• Effectively manage daily cash handlings, variances and discrepancies.
• Management of customer experience and engagement.
• Manage and facilitate a high staff morale within your team.

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role in a hospitality business.
• Previous experience in managing teams.
• A deep understanding of customer experience management.
• Previous experience in high-volume/high-end cocktail bars.
• Previous experience with craft beer and boutique wine.
• Experience with roster management and quality standards.
• Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs/Gmail.
• Experience in dealing with various contractors and suppliers.
