Duty Manager

Oversee daily café operations during assigned shifts, lead the team, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily café operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise, support, and motivate café staff.
• Coordinate staff duties and shift coverage.
• Maintain excellent customer-service standards.
• Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food-safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Oversee POS and cash-handling procedures.
• Support opening and closing duties.
• Monitor staff performance and service efficiency.
• Help control waste and operating costs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café.
• Ensure smooth communication between team members and management.
• Report operational issues and shift performance to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer-service abilities.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Comfortable using POS and cash-handling systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
