Duty Manager

About the role

Responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring excellent guest service, coordinating with different departments, and addressing operational concerns to maintain smooth and efficient hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
• Supervise and coordinate with department heads and staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Handle guest complaints, inquiries, and special requests professionally.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to service standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and public areas.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments.
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies and implement appropriate solutions.
• Prepare incident reports and provide operational updates to management.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and security throughout the hotel.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and property management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
