Duty Manager - Three Hills Sports Park

Lead From the Front at One of Kent’s Leading Community Sports Facilities

We are looking for a confident, proactive and people-focused Duty Manager to join Three Hills Sports Park.

This is a key operational leadership role responsible for the day-to-day running of the site during shifts. As the senior manager on duty, you will lead teams across the facility, ensure high operational standards and create a safe, welcoming and professional environment for customers, clubs and community users.

No two days are the same at Three Hills, from sporting events and community activities to busy peak periods and operational challenges, you’ll play a central role in keeping the site running smoothly and successfully.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you will take ownership of the site during your shift, leading operational teams and ensuring excellent standards across all areas of the facility.

You will:

• Lead and coordinate all on-shift operations
• Supervise and support operational teams across the site
• Ensure health & safety and safeguarding standards are maintained
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Respond to incidents, challenges and operational issues in real time
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe and operationally ready
• Support events, bookings and commercial activity
• Complete shift reporting and communicate effectively with the wider management team

This role requires someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Has experience in a supervisory, team leader or duty management role
• Can lead teams confidently and professionally
• Takes ownership and accountability for operational delivery
• Has strong customer service and communication skills
• Understands health & safety and safeguarding responsibilities
• Can adapt quickly and solve problems effectively
• Maintains high standards and positively challenges poor performance

Experience within leisure, hospitality, sport or community facilities would be advantageous.
