Job Location: Al Baleed Resort Salalah By Anantara

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is a global luxury hotel and resort brand rooted in Thai culture, with an intrinsic sense of authentic hospitality. Inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘without end’, our spirit embodies freedom, movement, and harmony. We believe every journey should leave a lasting impression — for our guests and for our people.

Founded in 2001 in Thailand, we have since expanded across the world, welcoming guests in some of the world’s most captivating locales — from pristine beaches and private islands to ancient sites and vibrant metropolises. If you are driven by a passion for generosity, warmth and heartfelt hospitality, Anantara offers a career without limits.

Responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the resort during the night shift, ensuring exceptional guest service, guest satisfaction, and safety. Acts as the main point of contact for overnight operations, coordinates with all departments, handles guest complaints and emergencies, and ensures compliance with resort standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Description – Duty Manager (Night)

  • Oversee and manage the overall resort operations during the night shift, ensuring seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and full compliance with Anantara brand standards.
  • Act as the senior operational representative during the night shift, taking ownership of resort operations, making sound decisions, resolving operational challenges, and escalating critical matters when necessary.
  • Be flexible and available to support day operations when required by business needs, including assuming Duty Manager responsibilities during the day to ensure effective management coverage and operational continuity.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by proactively engaging with guests, handling complaints, resolving service issues, and following up on guest feedback to achieve the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure all facilities, public areas, and operational departments maintain the required standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and service excellence.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Security, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and effective collaboration across all resort operations.
  • Manage VIP arrivals, special requests, guest concerns, and service recovery initiatives, ensuring personalised service consistent with Anantara's luxury hospitality standards.
  • Take immediate and appropriate action in emergencies, security incidents, medical situations, and other operational disruptions, ensuring guest and team member safety and compliance with established procedures.
  • Oversee night audit activities in coordination with the relevant team members, ensuring accurate financial reporting, proper cash controls, and timely completion of daily operational reports.
  • Ensure effective handover between night and day operations, communicating outstanding matters, guest concerns, VIP movements, incidents, and operational priorities to the incoming management team.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members on duty, ensuring accountability, professional conduct, adherence to policies, and consistent delivery of service standards.
  • Monitor resort facilities and operational readiness, coordinating with the relevant departments to address maintenance issues, service deficiencies, and other matters requiring immediate attention.
  • Ensure compliance with resort policies, standard operating procedures, health and safety requirements, security protocols, and applicable local regulations.
  • Prepare and communicate accurate operational, incident, and guest feedback reports, ensuring all relevant matters are documented and followed up appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to support operational priorities, improve service delivery, and maintain business continuity across both day and night operations.
  • Perform any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the management team in line with operational requirements.
