• Coordinate assigned test activities with suppliers or external labs, confirm test readiness and sample status, review test setup evidence and data quality, identify abnormal results or trends and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
• Participate in requirement reviews, DFMEA and project risk discussions, and support the conversion of identified risks into validation scope, test conditions and acceptance criteria under appropriate guidance.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of validation plans, test requests, schedules, sample requirements and technical records, with traceability to product requirements and approved methods.
• Support failure analysis and root cause investigations by reviewing supplier evidence, test records, failure symptoms and available tear-down findings; participate in sample review or basic inspection when needed and document relevant design or validation learning.
• Support reliability evaluation by reviewing supplier-generated failure records, test duration information and sample-to-sample variation; assist senior engineers in interpreting results and defining appropriate follow-up.
• Perform engineering data analysis using appropriate basic statistical methods, including data checking, descriptive statistics, trend review, comparison of test groups and identification of abnormal variation; prepare clear technical reports, summaries and presentations in line with established standards and review requirements.
• Act as a day-to-day technical interface with suppliers and external laboratories for assigned validation work, including test request clarification, readiness checks, schedule and execution follow-up, evidence and report review, deviation handling and issue tracking; contribute to capability assessments when required.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE Experience Required

• Typically 3-6 years of design validation, reliability, product verification, supplier laboratory coordination, engineering data analysis or related experience in consumer electronics or a relevant engineering industry.
• Working knowledge of one or more areas of environmental, mechanical, electrical/electronic, functional or reliability testing, sufficient to review supplier test setups, evidence, results and reports; direct hands-on laboratory experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience in coordinating or reviewing test activities and preparing technical records or reports; exposure to validation planning and supplier laboratory interaction is preferred.
• Exposure to test method development, improvement or transfer, such as test condition definition, fixture requirements, supplier trial review, repeatability assessment or method documentation, is preferred.
• Basic capability in engineering data analysis, including data cleaning and checking, descriptive statistics, charts, trend or distribution review and comparison of results; familiarity with Excel, Minitab or similar tools is preferred.
• Good planning, prioritization and attention to detail, with the ability to complete assigned work independently and seek guidance when needed.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate in a global working environment.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, mechanical engineering, materials, reliability engineering, physics or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Basic awareness of reliability concepts such as failure modes, test-to-failure, life or cycle testing, sample variation and reliability risk is preferred. Awareness of DFMEA, DOE, Six Sigma or other quality tools, and relevant training or certification, is an advantage.
