Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining, and back-of-house areas while supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Key responsibilities
- Wash and clean kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and stewarding area.
- Dispose of garbage properly according to company procedures.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Ensure all utensils and equipment are stored properly.
- Assist the kitchen team with daily operational needs.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Support other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Leader.
