What they need
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist guests with seating and provide menus or beverage lists.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
- Provide information about menu items, ingredients, promotions, and special requests when required.
- Serve food and beverages according to the hotel’s service standards.
- Ensure orders are delivered to the correct table and guest.
- Check guest satisfaction during the meal and respond to guest requests professionally.
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals.
- Prepare and maintain tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and other service equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant, service area, and surrounding areas.
- Assist with restaurant set-up before service and closing procedures after service.
- Assist in buffet set-up, breakfast service, events, weddings, and other F&B functions when required.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other F&B team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and report them to the Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
- Follow hotel policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock arrangement and replenishment of service items when required.
- Ensure all equipment and service items are handled properly and safely.
- Support other F&B operational activities as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
