Deputy CEO – Luxury Automotive Business 📍 Location: Coimbatore

We are looking for an accomplished senior automotive professional to take on the role of Deputy CEO with a leading automotive group.

The role carries end-to-end business and P&L responsibility and requires a leader with deep experience in managing the luxury/premium passenger vehicle business .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the business with complete P&L ownership, driving revenue, profitability and sustainable growth.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across new vehicle sales, pre-owned vehicles, after-sales/service, parts and customer experience.
• Drive market share, sales productivity, margins and overall dealership performance.
• Build and strengthen relationships with HNI and premium/luxury customers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the ownership lifecycle.
• Lead relationships with OEM/principal stakeholders, including business planning, performance reviews and achievement of OEM scorecards.
• Drive after-sales performance across service revenue, workshop productivity, parts, customer retention and profitability.
• Optimise inventory, working capital, operating costs and overall financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for market expansion and business growth.
• Lead and develop senior functional teams across sales, service, customer experience, finance and other business functions.
• Establish a high-performance culture built around customer centricity, accountability, execution excellence and integrity.
• Ensure strong operational governance, compliance and adherence to OEM and organisational standards.

Candidate Profile

• 20–25 years of professional experience, with substantial experience in the automotive industry.
• Significant leadership experience in the luxury/premium passenger vehicle segment is essential.
• Proven experience managing an automotive dealership/business with end-to-end P&L responsibility.
• Strong exposure across sales, after-sales/service, parts, customer experience and commercial operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior relationships with automotive OEMs/principals.
• Strong understanding of luxury automotive customers, premium retail standards and dealership economics.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi-functional teams and develop senior leaders.
• Strong commercial orientation with experience managing revenue, margins, inventory, working capital and profitability.
• Exposure to the South India automotive market would be an advantage.

Preferred Background Professionals currently operating as CEO / COO / Dealer Principal / Business Head / Regional Head / General Manager within a leading luxury or premium automotive dealership/group would be particularly relevant.

This is a senior business leadership position , and we are specifically looking for candidates who have managed the automotive business end-to-end rather than a single function.
