Dy. Project Manager / Chief Resident Engineer

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Preferably Mastes in Construction Management/ Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience and having worked on at least 02 Assignments in the similar position/role. Must have experience in Project / Construction for at least 05 years as a Cheif Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate supervision of civil, mechanical and electrical works, ensuring proper technical interfaces, construction sequencing, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and recommend approval of Contractor’s construction methodologies, work programs, shop drawings, material/equipment submittals, inspection and testing procedures, and monitor implementation of approved requirements.
• Monitor construction progress against approved baseline programs, identify technical constraints, delays and potential time/cost overruns, and recommend corrective and recovery measures.
• Support contract administration under applicable FIDIC conditions, including review of Contractors’ claims, variations, extension-of-time requests, payment applications and other contractual submissions, and provide recommendations to the Client.
• Establish and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures, including inspection and testing of works and materials, identification of non-conformities, corrective actions and verification of completed works.
• Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, utilities and relevant authorities to resolve technical, construction, interface and utility-related issues, and lead regular site/progress coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with E&S specialists to monitor implementation of ESIA/ESMP, CESMP, LMP, SEP, RAP/ARAP, health and safety and WB/IFC EHS requirements during construction.
• Lead technical activities related to testing, commissioning, completion and handover.

Pay: Rs350,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Construction supervision on infrastructure projects as CRE: 5 years (Preferred)
