Kitchen Bistro is Miami’s chef-driven culinary spot inside the trendy Kompose Hotel. We serve bold global flavors with a modern twist on the first-floor restaurant and feature signature cocktails, fresh juices, and premium liquors on our rooftop bar with stunning Miami skyline views. Our guests are primarily vacationers staying at the hotel, along with locals looking for great food, drinks, and vibes. It’s a lively, high-energy environment where hospitality and personality matter.

The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic bartender who thrives in a fast-paced hotel setting and loves creating memorable experiences for travelers. You’ll work between the restaurant bar and the rooftop, crafting cocktails, engaging with a diverse mix of vacation guests, and keeping the energy high. If you’re outgoing, efficient, and passionate about great drinks and genuine service, this is your spot.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a full range of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and consistency
• Deliver warm, attentive service to hotel guests and diners in both the first-floor restaurant and rooftop bar
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and assist with opening/closing procedures
• Upsell drinks and suggest pairings that enhance the guest experience
• Handle cash, credit cards, and POS systems accurately
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and hotel team members
• Follow all alcohol service laws, health codes, and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bartending experience preferred (hotel, restaurant, or high-volume bar experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails; willingness to learn our signature recipes
• Friendly, energetic personality with excellent guest interaction skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy periods
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain/maintain a Florida alcohol server certification
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
