This is where the industry's best talent is right now. Get on board a complex, market-leading rail infrastructure project. Must be based onsite in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the PICOT in the planning, coordination, and execution of dynamic testing activities.
  • Lead and facilitate daily pre-start briefings, ensuring all personnel understand testing objectives, safety requirements, work methods, and site-specific risks.
  • Supervise and support testing crews during test execution, including obtaining, recording, and validating test measurements and performance data.
  • Ensure all site facilities, equipment, communications systems, access arrangements, test instruments, and support resources are correctly established and operational prior to testing.
  • Monitor testing progress and provide real-time feedback to the PICOT on test outcomes, issues, and potential risks.
  • Coordinate with construction, commissioning, operations, and stakeholder teams to ensure testing activities are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate test records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with project and quality requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate safety hazards, technical issues, and operational constraints that may impact testing activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with UGL procedures, project specifications, and relevant industry standards.

About You

  • Experience supervising testing, commissioning, or operational activities within rail, infrastructure, electrical, signalling, or systems environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and risk management.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience collecting and analysing test data and measurements.
