Dynamics 365 Functional Architect

Location: Remote – Mexico
Salary: MXN $95,000 gross per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Architect to lead business analysis, process mapping, fit-gap assessments, and functional solution design across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

You will serve as a functional subject matter expert, working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Design

• Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to understand business objectives, requirements, and operational challenges.
• Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and Dynamics 365 / Power Platform capabilities.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement and reengineering.

Functional Solution Design & Configuration

• Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration specifications.
• Recommend standard platform capabilities before proposing customizations.
• Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions, including tables/entities.
• Configure user experiences that support business processes and operational efficiency.
• Design functional solutions using Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate.

Agile Delivery & Product Support

• Create and manage user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Support backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Functional Consulting.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Power Automate.
• Experience configuring Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
• Strong understanding of CRM processes, including lead and opportunity management.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, and business process reengineering.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable user stories.
• Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse.

Required Certification

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100).
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate.
