Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect – Malta

A leading digital consultancy in Malta is looking to appoint an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Architect to support a growing pipeline of D365 F&O projects across Malta and the wider international market.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of the technical architecture across complex D365 F&O implementations, lead development teams and provide trusted technical guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.

The role

You will take responsibility for the technical direction of D365 F&O projects, working closely with delivery, project management and client stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, stable and aligned with business requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of D365 F&O developers
• Defining and maintaining development standards and quality assurance
• Designing and recommending technical architecture in line with client requirements
• Owning integration requirements across D365 F&O solutions
• Managing releases and ensuring they meet agreed quality standards
• Supporting migration activities and wider systems architecture
• Providing technical recommendations and realistic implementation timelines
• Working closely with project management and functional teams throughout delivery
• Taking a hands-on approach to technical development and coding where required

About you

You will ideally bring:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical lead capacity on D365 F&O implementations
• Strong knowledge of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ecosystem
• Proven experience designing and delivering technical architecture
• Strong experience with integrations, migration activities and solution design
• Experience sizing infrastructure requirements and completing systems architecture
• Previous experience leading or mentoring D365 technical teams
• A project-focused mindset with strong estimation and delivery skills
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
• Degree-level education
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Knowledge of the Power Platform would be advantageous
