What they need

The Dynamics Administrator supports the configuration, administration, and day-to-day maintenance of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service environment. Based in our India office and working under the direction of and in partnership with the US-based Dynamics Administrator, this role helps execute process updates, build and test configurations, support existing integrations and automations, and maintain system documentation. This is a growth-oriented position: the successful candidate will deepen their Dynamics 365 and Power Platform skills over time and take on increasing ownership as they develop

Core Job Duties

  • Assist in building and deploying configuration changes (custom fields, forms, views, dashboards, security roles) following established best practices and under guidance from the senior administrator
  • Support day-to-day administration of Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including user setup, security roles, and routine maintenance
  • Help write and execute test plans and perform system validation testing for new release previews and customizations
  • Respond to and triage incoming issues (access, data accuracy, performance), resolving routine items and escalating complex problems to the senior administrator
  • Build and maintain simple automations and workflows using Power Automate and the Power Platform
  • Work with Dataverse tables, relationships, and data to support configuration, data quality, and reporting needs
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing third-party integrations and data flows, escalating issues that require build or architecture changes
  • Assist with data tasks in Excel (cleanup, validation, imports/exports, pivot analysis)
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including configuration notes, test cases, and admin/how-to guides
  • Collaborate with US-based team members across time zones, participating in handoffs, stand-ups, and knowledge-sharing
  • Proactively build knowledge of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform and share what you learn with the team

Job Complexity

Works on assignments that are semi-routine to moderately complex in nature. Applies working knowledge of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform to defined problems with some latitude, and escalates non-routine issues. Exercises judgment within established guidelines and best practices

Interaction

Works closely with the US-based Dynamics Administrator and functional teams. Communicates clearly across time zones; asks questions and seeks guidance appropriately.

Supervision

Works under the general supervision and guidance of the Senior Manager Intelligent Business Systems. Does not supervise others.

Experience

Typically requires 2–4 years of related experience (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, CRM, or business-systems administration) with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or the Power Platform (or comparable CRM / business-systems experience)
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Familiarity with Dataverse (tables, relationships, basic data modeling)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups/formulas, data cleanup)
  • Understanding of how integrations and data flows move data between systems, and willingness to help support and troubleshoot them
  • Ability to follow documented processes and produce clear, accurate documentation
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable working with a remote, US-based team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Willingness to learn and grow into greater ownership over time

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Service concepts - cases, queues, SLAs, routing, and entitlements
  • Microsoft certification relevant to the role - PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant) or MB-230 (Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant); PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals) acceptable as a baseline
  • Experience deploying changes via Dynamics solutions across multiple environments (Dev/QA/UAT/Prod)
  • Experience with data import/migration tooling (Configuration Migration tool, Data Import Wizard, or Excel-based imports)
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting integrations between systems
  • Exposure to ERP or broader business-systems concepts
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with responsible, governed use of AI-assisted tooling in a business environment
