**Dynamics Developer

*Onsite in Richmond, VA 4x/week for the first two months, then 1x/week onsite**

Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Dynamics 365 Developer to join their team. This role is critical for designing, developing, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development, with a focus on the Customer Engagement module. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, collaborating closely with IT and business units to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving organizational needs. Initially, onsite presence is required four days a week for the first two months, then once a week thereafter, with some support responsibilities that may include after-hours work.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, particularly the Customer Service module
• Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage
• Ability to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, design, configure, implement, test, and support Power Platform solutions
• Proficient in designing and developing web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and C#
• Troubleshooting and remediation of Dynamics 365 issues, documenting solutions, and working with system administrators
• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
• Experience aligning solutions with best practices and governance standards for platform usage
• Ability to create documentation including requirements, technical analysis, and usage guidelines
• Capable of developing mockups/prototypes based on business requirements utilizing Power Platform features and tools
• Ability to liaise effectively between IT and business units, managing issue tracking and resolution

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines, ALM Accelerator)
• Knowledge of Data Integrations and Migrations using ADF & SSIS Packages

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience with Dynamics 365 customization and implementation
• At least 5 years of experience with creating and managing Solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Service
• Strong experience with custom development using .Net, JavaScript, and C#
• 3+ years of hands-on Power Platform and Dataverse experience
• 2+ years of working with ADF & SSIS for data migrations
• Experience with standard & premium connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate
• Prior experience working with DevOps environments in Power Platform/D365 is preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with remote work and supporting after-hours as needed
• Willing to participate in on-call duties if required
