Dynatrace Observability Engineer

We're looking for a Dynatrace Observability Engineer to join our Monitoring & AIOps team. If you're passionate about observability, cloud platforms, automation, and proactive incident management, you'll have the opportunity to work on large-scale environments supporting critical business services and operations.

You'll collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, application teams, and operational stakeholders to deliver end-to-end monitoring and observability solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

What You'll Do

• Analyze applications, platforms, and services to identify observability requirements
• Design and implement Dynatrace onboarding strategies aligned with architecture, security, and operational standards
• Configure metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, KPIs, and alerting solutions
• Build end-to-end observability views across distributed applications and cloud environments
• Support monitoring and performance optimization initiatives
• Implement automation workflows and AIOps capabilities to enable proactive incident management
• Integrate monitoring solutions across multiple systems and platforms
• Develop and maintain Dynatrace configurations using Infrastructure as Code principles
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve service reliability and operational efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring, observability, and automation practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working with Dynatrace SaaS and/or Managed
• Strong expertise in application and infrastructure observability
• Experience monitoring Azure and/or AWS environments
• Hands-on experience with:
• Dynatrace GRAIL
• Open Pipelines
• DQL
• Workflows
• Automation & AIOps capabilities
• OpenTelemetry
• Experience configuring Dynatrace using Monaco and/or Terraform
• Knowledge of cloud architectures and distributed systems
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, log management, and performance analysis
• JavaScript scripting skills are a plus
• Ability to design observability solutions across complex enterprise environments
• Dynatrace certifications are highly valued
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

Additional Information

• Hybrid model: 2 days per week in the office (Moscavide, Lisbon)
• English mandatory (minimum B2 level)
