DZ Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our snowplowing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for snowplowing, safely transporting material, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our operational needs.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles for snowplowing and transporting materials to designated locations.
• Utilize heavy equipment to load and unload cargo efficiently.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive and equipment repairs to ensure optimal functioning.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and equipment operation.
• Assist with the operation of heavy machinery as needed for loading, unloading, or moving freight.
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients to coordinate schedules and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ licence with a minimum 3 years experience and clean driving record.
• Experience operating heavy equipment an asset.
• Prior experience in material transportation or snowplowing preferred but not required. Higher wage to those with prior experience.
• Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance an asset.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an opportunity for individuals committed to safety and efficiency in transportation operations, supporting the smooth functioning of our logistics network.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
