What you'll be doing?   

• Supporting export sales administration: Assist in the preparation, documentation, and execution of export sales processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step of the order cycle.
• Coordinating across departments: Work closely with teams in production, shipping, finance, and beyond to ensure all export order requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Managing freight forwarder relationships: Liaise with freight forwarders to coordinate delivery logistics and ensure smooth, on-schedule shipments to international destinations.
• Engaging with regulatory bodies: Act as a point of liaison with MATRADE and MITI, supporting the company's compliance with export regulations and trade requirements.
• Overseeing invoicing and inventory: Manage invoicing processes and maintain accurate inventory records for both e-commerce and export operations to support financial and operational reporting.

Who are they looking for?   

• Educational background: A Diploma or Degree in any relevant field provides a solid foundation for this role.
• Import/export experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in import/export operations, with hands-on knowledge of shipping documentation and export order fulfilment, is required to hit the ground running.
• Industry exposure: Prior experience in the FMCG industry within an export or trade environment is a valued advantage that will support a smooth transition into this role.
• Computer literacy and organisation: Strong computer skills and a well-organised working style are essential for managing documentation, inventory, and cross-functional coordination effectively.
• Interpersonal and communication skills: A positive attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills enables effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies alike.
• Self-motivation and resilience: The ability to work independently, stay motivated, and perform under pressure to meet deadlines is key to succeeding in this role.
