E-commerce & Shopify Coordinator

We are looking for a hands-on, organized part-time coordinator to work directly with founder and coordinate Upwork freelancers to build and launch our Shopify store.

At the Venue combines a Manhattan knitwear micro-factory, retail space and café. Our online store will feature our knitwear, made-to-order products and selected partner brands sold on consignment.

Your responsibilities

• Work with the founder to turn business ideas into a clear Shopify launch plan.
• Prepare project briefs, coordinate Upwork freelancers, track deadlines and review their work.
• Organize product photos, descriptions, prices, sizes, colors and inventory information.
• Upload and maintain products, collections and website content.
• Help set up customer journeys for ready-to-ship products, made-to-order knitwear and consignment collections.
• Coordinate shipping, returns, customer notifications and order workflows.
• Test the store on mobile and desktop, including checkout and order emails.
• After launch, support order administration, customer enquiries and basic email campaigns.
• Provide a short weekly update on progress, issues and next steps.

Requirements

• Strong organization, communication and follow-through.
• Comfortable coordinating freelancers and working directly with a business owner.
• Able to write clear product descriptions and organize spreadsheets.
• Interest in fashion, knitwear, design or independent brands.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
