E-commerce & Warehouse Assistant

We have two e-commerce platforms that you’ll be working with: eBay and Auction IT. The latter is our own custom-built platform to auction servers and components to individual users within the EU. The way of operating (e.g. software or branding of images) is a bit different, but the core of your work remains the same: take nice pictures of the hardware and list it online in an attractive way.

What will you be doing and what is important to know

This e-commerce role requires you to work both in the office and the warehouse. A typical day can start in the warehouse: you pick up server components and bring them to our photo room. You photograph products, sometimes opening servers to capture detailed internal pictures. After that, you edit the photos in the office and create or update online listings.

Servers and IT equipment can be large and heavy, so the role requires some physical strength and a hands-on mindset. You should be comfortable walking around the warehouse, lifting equipment when needed, and preparing products to look their best for online sales.

The rest of the e-commerce tasks, such as posting listings, editing descriptions, and managing products, are completed in the office environment. Your tasks will include:

• Creating and posting product listings and auctions on eBay
• Photographing products and editing images using Photoshop
• Writing and optimizing product descriptions for online sales
• Processing orders and updating products in our ERP system
• Managing inventory and transferring products between warehouses
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
• Testing, inspecting, and cleaning server hardware before sale
• Assisting with loading, unloading, lifting, and moving servers and IT equipment
• Answering customer questions and providing excellent service
• Helping improve warehouse and e-commerce processes

What are we looking for?

• Interest in e-commerce and online sales platforms such as eBay
• Comfortable working both at a desk and in a warehouse environment
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken
• Experience with Photoshop or image editing software
• Detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and customer-focused
• Ability to lift and move heavy server equipment when needed
• Knowledge of server hardware or IT equipment is a strong advantage.
