E-commerce & Warehouse Operations Assistant

This is a varied, hands-on role working within a small online clothing business. This is not a purely office-based e-commerce position.

The role is based in our warehouse and involves a mixture of e-commerce, administration and practical warehouse work. One day you may be creating product listings, working with our stock-management system or solving an online marketplace issue; the next you may be receiving and sorting stock, preparing products, picking and packing orders or helping wherever the business needs you.

The most important thing we're looking for is initiative. We need someone who can look at what needs doing and get on with it, rather than constantly waiting to be given their next task. As you learn the business, we'd like you to spot problems, suggest improvements and gradually take ownership of different areas.

You don't need to be an e-commerce expert. We're looking for someone practical and hands-on who is also confident with computers, organised, quick to learn and willing to figure things out.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and wants the opportunity to learn how an online retail business works from end to end. There is plenty of scope for the right person to develop the role and take on more responsibility over time.
